Summary

Quanxi and Kishibe duel with measured caution, each turning the other's strikes aside. After a flurry, Quanxi hurls Kishibe through a window, but he checks his fall by skidding down the outer wall and crashing onto Kobeni's car. Aldo keeps spraying gunfire at the various fighters and dives clear of a fireball Long throws at him, only for Quanxi to seize him and pitch him through the glass as well, leaving him in the same wrecked car. Within the building, Galgali holds off waves of dolls while Kobeni stares in despair at her ruined vehicle.

Key Events

Power, still gripping Pingtsi as a hostage, demands Quanxi leave her and Denji be. Quanxi calmly asks Power to back off and pledges her safety, making the fiend waver. At that moment Beam erupts from the floor, hurling Long aside and tearing Denji loose. As Denji opts to run, Quanxi is intercepted by Yoshida, who asks for a rematch. The two spar at blistering speed, slipping each other's blows and trading a few clean hits. Yoshida remarks that Quanxi is probably not human, given how little several brutal strikes seem to affect her.

Notes

Denji and Beam make their escape, with Beam cautioning him against wasting blood on a chainsaw transformation. Mid-flight, Denji treads on Tolka's nail and is yanked into the air, both of them stunned and bewildered, before the Curse Devil rips Denji apart and Tolka kicks Beam down. The chapter opens Volume 8 and continues the International Assassins arc, escalating the rooftop and street-level chaos that gives the installment its title.
