Jack Wisp

Jack sports medium-length dark hair, a tidy mustache, and a closely groomed beard, with small dark spike marks under each eye. His look channels a Victorian dandy: a high-collared striped dress shirt under a tailored jacket, a dark bow tie, a bowler hat, and a monocle over the right eye. The standout piece is the oversized jack-o'-lantern he wears as pants, paired with dark leggings and dress shoes. A dark, seemingly fire-resistant fabric sheathes every finger except his pinkies.

Jack is withdrawn and tight-lipped, rarely speaking in a fight or even to his fellow Paladins. That quiet exterior hides a coldly merciless killer who torches his targets without a flicker of hesitation. Underneath runs a streak of sadism and outright derangement, including a morbid fixation on intestines that drives him to gut victims whenever he can. He shows a lecherous side as well, idly flipping through an erotic magazine in front of his comrades as they close in on Rin and Koki.

After triggering Empty Space and tracking Rin Sawaki and Koki Yukishiro to the mall, Jack attacked at once with a burst of flame lit from his own gas. Rin summoned Mai to shove him back with gravity while Koki flung a swarm of flies through her Lord of the Flies power, but he burned the insects away and pressed the fire toward the girls until Rin, amplified by Koki, repelled him. A combined performance then blasted him off the balcony to the floor below, where the swarm overwhelmed his flames until Vakappa peeled the insects off with a liquid barrier.

Following Red Baron's lead, Jack lit a fire at the rear to kick up smoke and wind, letting Red Baron restrain Rin while Jack pinned Koki. When Koki conceded, he produced a kozuka knife from his mouth and pressed it to her hand to draw out her Lord of the Flies ability, then passed the charged blade to Red Baron, who extracted Rin's power. With both girls now at the Paladins' mercy, a giant toilet abruptly rose in the mall's center, hitting them with a wave of constipation that scattered them toward the bathrooms.

Inside, the trio ran into the yokai Hanako. Jack's gas ignition left her untouched, and as Vakappa tried to drown her, Hanako flushed his watery body down a toilet and left it withered. Jack readied another blast only for Hanako to crush his fingers under a slammed toilet lid and knock him out with a heavy punch. Once Red Baron fled, Hanako flushed both Jack and Vakappa away to seal their defeat.
