Summary

Stung by Momo's flat refusal of his date offer, which she read as ill intent, Okarun brushes it off as a joke and heads off, though she isn't convinced. Embarrassed by his clumsy attempt to win her back, he leaves while a blushing Momo glances back, puzzled.

The next day he visits the shrine where Manjiro is cleaning, keen to show off his new command of the Oni Club. Manjiro tries to shape it himself and fails. Asked how that's possible after all the "training," Manjiro admits the lessons were merely chores and that he taught nothing, too absorbed in BooTube. Okarun grouses that Manjiro is as lukewarm as Seiko.

Outside, Okarun meets Aira and Jiji, recaps the day before with Momo and the Serpo, and asks them to watch over the now powerless Momo. Jiji delivers more bad news: Bamora is unavailable, her kaiju suit under repair. Aira asks whether the attack revived Momo's memories, but Okarun says none have returned. He wants to learn if Aira or Jiji can handle the Oni Club too, yet before any test the trio crosses paths with Momo and Bamora. Momo turns her head aside, prompting Aira to scold the coldness, and Momo snaps that she simply won't look their way. Jiji whispers asking what happened; Okarun is clueless beyond the tense air. Momo overhears and blasts him for his ridiculous date ploy. As the group dissolves into bickering, Bamora abruptly suggests they all date together, freezing everyone.

At the mall, Rin browses with Koki and bonds over their shared love of vampires and romance. Soon both get yanked into Empty Space, where a trio of distant figures waits.
