Takeshi Murakami

Muscular and aging, Murakami keeps his dark hair cropped short and favors a tracksuit. When he tells Momo and Okarun about Sanjome agreeing to oversee their new club, he turns up in a matching long-sleeved sweatshirt and pants, the look of a fitness-obsessed instructor.

To colleagues he plays the affable coworker, but underneath sits a manipulator who coerces female students into serving him, Koki Yukishiro chief among them. His fixation on money and stocks bleeds into a lecherous streak, as seen when he leveraged Adachi's inability to afford care for her mother to pressure her into wearing a revealing outfit at his apartment. He guards his own interests above all, feigning innocence even after being caught.

Murakami first appears at Kami High as a teacher, comically unable to find his own desk because Sanjome had quietly taken it, and later he introduces Momo, Okarun, Kinta, and Bamora to Sanjome as the supervisor of their History and Culture Research Club. At some earlier point the Orchestrator recruited him, rewarding him with cash and steroids and handing him the Severed Head Dribblers power. Allowed to gather his own underlings, he trawled social media for leverage, found a compromising photo of Koki, and threatened to leak it unless she stole Momo's psychic power. He armed her with an Asura knife and granted her the Lord of the Flies ability, though her new spiritual sight only let her perceive the pygmies that already trailed her.

During the Kozuka Knives Arc he juggles his scheming with chasing Adachi, inviting her and Sanjome to a singles mixer. After spotting Rin watching, he uses his Severed Head Dribblers power on both Rin and Koki at the school gym, reducing them to floating dormant heads, then retreats to his apartment to monitor the carnage remotely while pressuring Adachi into a bunny outfit. His confidence collapses when Adachi sets her jiangshi on him and a swarm of flies engulfs him. She presents her own Asura knife, claims the flies are her doing, and forces him to cut himself and surrender, sealing his power into the blade.

Carried by the flies back to the gym, Murakami tries to bluff his way out in front of Aira, Rin, and Koki, insisting he was about to take a bath when everything went strange. Aira kicks him in the face and demands he own up to what he did. He agrees to delete the photos of Koki but smugly warns the girls not to overreact while he still holds the images, earning another kick that forces him to admit he is a contemptible man. Police are summoned after the fighting, and once Koki tells them everything, he is arrested.
