History

Toshiro is one of four regular members of Brave Force, serving as both leader and singer. Seiko first brings the band in to drive the Evil Eye out of Jiji. They nearly get turned away when Seiko mistakes them for trespassers, but once the address checks out, Toshiro confirms they are the exorcists she booked despite their wild appearance. Their explosive set has everyone swaying, until Jiji, now sympathizing with the spirit, pleads for them to stop and Seiko calls it off.

Later Seiko hires the band again, this time to pry the Onbusuman off Rin Sawaki's back during a festival. Greeting the Family with their signature hand sign, Toshiro performs atop a moving float alongside Hideji and Patarson while Yoshikichi drums below. The music raises a protective barrier against the spirits of Kami High, but a flung chunk of concrete strikes Toshiro and knocks him out cold, forcing Rin to take over as lead vocalist. Once he recovers and Rin is freed, the band reunites with the group at Kumamori Shrine for a celebratory dinner.

Abilities

Toshiro's strength lies in performance rather than perception. The band's music carries genuine spiritual force, raising barriers and powering exorcisms strong enough to reach beyond the living world, yet he personally cannot sense spirits at all. His voice and stage presence anchor the group's sound during these supernatural jobs.
