Chapter 105 of Dandadan gives Banga her last stand. She rallies the Sumerian men, breaks open the warp gate, and surrenders her own escape so Bamora can reach Earth and carry their people's hopes forward, all while begging the girl to stop calling her mother.
Piloting the Sumerian god's battle armor, Banga smashes Big Mama and hurls the nearby foes aside. The captured Sumerian men plead with their deity for rescue, but she rounds on them in anger: not one of them moved to protect Bamora after the girl had freed them. She demands they avenge their destroyed homeworld and guard Bamora, the final child of their race, then launches forward as the men at last join the charge.
Shielded by Tome and Aja, Bamora reaches the pyramid yet cannot work out how the system starts, so Banga catches up and helps her. Once the gateway opens, Banga passes the god suit to the girl and insists she leave alone, because the portal carries only a single traveler. Bamora will not go without her and has to be shoved through. Screaming back across the threshold, she hears Banga's last wishes: to endure on her new world and someday raise children with a man who is gentle yet powerful, keeping their people alive. Through tears, Banga also asks the girl to stop calling her mother, afraid that a parent's heart will dull her fighting spirit, and tells her how treasured she is. The gate carries Bamora off as Banga confesses her love.
The clash between the Sumerians and Kur rages on as Banga's massive exosuit tears Aja and Tome free. Rather than rescuing the men herself, she orders them to defend Bamora and reclaim their seized homeland, and the liberated fighters crush the enemy while Bamora sprints into the pyramid.
Banga follows, deciphering the royal script to charge the warp gate, then forces the girl and the suit through, since only one passenger fits. Her parting order is for Bamora to build a fresh future on Idea and take a strong husband so their bloodline continues. At last her buried motherly love spills over and she weeps, voicing her affection moments before the girl vanishes toward Earth.
