Summary
Still seething after witnessing Bamora's memories, Momo glares at the spatial suit alien before her. The Serpo strains to keep his shield raised as the jet booster suit alien hammers against it, and he begs Momo for aid as his strength fades. She asks him to endure a little longer while she fights to seal Bamora's wound. Out of options, the Serpo stabs a needle through Bamora's throat to avoid wasting more time. Momo, believing he has killed the girl, rages at him, then watches Bamora wake fully healed. The Serpo explains he had saved the needle for Momo in case of a fatal injury, but regrets that its single use is now spent and he can no longer mend her, which she accepts.
