Let's Blow Away That Typhoon

Seiko lays out a battle plan against the Typhoon Human, telling Momo to hook the airborne sharks with her powers while Jiji blasts them with his Evil Gun from the plane, steering the frozen creatures into the storm. She reasons that frozen sharks striking the typhoon turn into icy droplets, widening the storm's eye, spawning fresh clouds, weakening the system, and chilling the sea below. Seiko herself takes the controls despite Momo doubting she can fly. The pair follow the strategy but feel deflated when a single shark fails to break the storm at once, so they keep at it with the rest.

Elsewhere, Jugenmu points Naki toward what Momo and Jiji are doing and proposes striking while they are distracted. Realizing both groups face the same foe, Naki waves off the idea and resolves to bring down the Typhoon Human herself. With her Jennifer Lopez Anaconda, she smashes through the floor into the cargo hold, where netted bundles sit. She pours water over one bundle while reciting a spell, and to the teens' alarm a Mongolian Death Worm bursts up through the roof with the Kito Family mounted on it. Naki reveals that before Momo killed the Death Worm in Byakuja Village, it had laid eggs; her family hatched them, fed them livestock, dried them out, and smuggled them aboard. She now orders the worm to swallow the frozen sharks and blast them back into the typhoon, attacking the storm her own way.

Seiko pilots the plane while Jiji fires the Evil Gun at sharks Momo snags with her ki, sending them toward the storm. Naki breaks into the cargo bay and calls forth a Mongolian Death Worm, noting its cattle diet left it without its parent's abilities. The Kito Family climbs aboard the worm, which spews the frozen sharks back toward their towering foe.

Spanning 19 pages, chapter 196 continues the Typhoon Human Arc within the Ultimate Yokai Saga and debuted on June 3, 2025, as part of Volume 23. The Japanese title is Taifū o Buttobasou.
