That UFO Is Awesome

As Chiquitita steers the craft to wash the fire with the Tsuchinoko's corpse, Seiko scolds Manjiro for letting things worsen, only to soften and credit him once he points out her phone message was unclear. She also thanks Taro for helping seal the Evil Eye and suggests bagging his organs for now. The group wonders what became of Turbo Granny, Okarun, and Momo.

Momo hurries to the demolished Enjoji house alongside the Dover Demon, clearing rubble only to find the pit flooded with lava. She asks Chiquitita to chill the magma so she can dive in for Okarun, brushing off the Dover Demon's warning. Instead, Chiquitita lifts a magma rock straight out of the pool, and Momo pries it open to find Okarun unharmed within. Turbo Granny grumbles about the delay while Okarun explains the worm's phlegm shielded them, and he learns Jiji escaped under Seiko's care. Climbing free, he trips on the phlegm and falls onto Momo, panicking and apologizing, but she holds him close, sorry she could not do more yet grateful he survived.

Piloting the spaceship, Chiquitita keeps dousing the lava with phlegm. With the Dover Demon, Momo dashes toward the cursed house and finds it drowned in lava. Chiquitita hauls a huge rock from the molten pool, and when Momo splits open the phlegm she discovers Okarun and Turbo Granny safe inside. Okarun apologizes for failing to save Jiji and slides into her arms as he steps out. Overjoyed that he lived, Momo wraps him in a relieved hug.

Running nineteen pages, this Volume 6 chapter sits in the Cursed House Arc of the Kintama Hunt Saga and was released March 15, 2022. Episode 16 adapts the material. Its lineup features Okarun, Momo Ayase, Turbo Granny, the Mantisian, Chiquitita, Seiko Ayase, Taro, Manjiro, the Great Serpent, and a mention of Jiji.
