Summary

With the kaiju bearing down, Momo and the others jab at controls at random, hoping to wake the mech, yet nothing responds. Okarun and the Evil Eye manage to climb out, then watch the monster batter the machine while Momo, Aira, and Kinta remain trapped within. The Evil Eye is eager to engage, and a worried Okarun starts to grant it permission, only to break off mid-sentence when the mech's arm suddenly rises to block the kaiju's stomping foot. Realizing the giant only responds to focused visualization, Kinta drives it to boot the monster away. Reveling in his long-held dream of piloting a robot, he then shifts the machine into a fresh configuration to strike back.

Key Events

Slamming every button at once only damages the robot and flings Okarun clear of the Great Kinta. The kaiju lays into the defenseless mech and keeps battering it. Breaking out through the nanoskin, the Evil Eye lands near Okarun and demands a fight, and Okarun nearly grants the request before Kinta at last learns to pilot the machine.

In the showdown of Momo Ayase, Aira Shiratori, and Kinta Sakata against Bamora's exosuit, Kinta heals the damage and reshapes the Great Kinta to meet the kaiju head-on.
