Summary

With the robot tuned to his taste, Kinta overpowers the kaiju, gleefully raining down attacks as memories of his childhood flood back. The monster suddenly vanishes from the ground and lands a hidden strike, and Kinta, realizing it has gone invisible again, converts the mecha's glasses into an infrared scope to track it. The kaiju retaliates by tearing off the robot's left leg, dropping it, and battering it while it lies fallen, leaving Kinta panicking with no escape. Battling motion sickness, Momo uses her powers on the mecha to halt the kaiju's assault, and Aira adds her own ability to pin the creature's body. Unwilling to let a queasy Kinta keep piloting, Momo takes command of the mecha's arms, hoists the kaiju skyward, and drives it down headfirst into the earth.
