Amane Ubuyashiki

Amane is a woman of average height with pale skin set off by red lips. She has large plum-purple eyes accented with pink, short eyebrows, and a calm beauty that draws comment from other characters, with Muichiro Tokito likening her to a forest spirit at their first meeting.

Her white hair is worn down, swept to either side at the front and gathered into a short ponytail behind, with two loose strands beside her face. She dresses in a salmon kimono that fades to orange near the top, layered under a dark-indigo haori covered in blue butterfly motifs and secured by a striped obi.

Amane carries the same quiet, disciplined, and serious manner as her husband and children. She conducts herself with poise and tact when standing in for Kagaya before the Hashira, and she shares the family's deep dedication to the Demon Slayer Corps, working tirelessly to find any advantage against the demons.

Her devotion to Kagaya runs deep. She remains constantly at his side as his body fails, and the one time she loses her composure is when his condition worsens sharply and he begins coughing blood. When his life finally ends and Muzan approaches, she chooses to die alongside him, triggering an explosive trap meant to wound Muzan. She is also a loving yet firm parent who raises her children to be independent in preparation for the deaths she knows are coming.

Amane proves herself a capable leader and commander once her husband can no longer fulfill his duties. She takes over his role at the head of the Demon Slayer Corps during his final days, directing the strong-willed Hashira despite their difficult temperaments.

She is also highly skilled in medicine, having served as Kagaya's nurse and caregiver throughout his struggle with the family's hereditary curse. Her medical knowledge extends beyond her household as well, since she successfully treats a gravely wounded Muichiro Tokito after he slays his first demon, before he formally joins the Corps.
