Kyogai, called the Drum Demon, is a former member of the Twelve Kizuki who once held the rank of Lower Six. Cast out by Muzan for reaching his limit, he obsessively hunts rare-blooded humans from his shifting mansion, hoping to reclaim his lost place.
Kyogai is a towering, muscular demon with grayish skin and angular markings on his brow. He has shoulder-length black hair, sharply pointed ears, and rows of razor teeth. His sclera are blood red, and his deep blue pupils are usually rolled back out of sight. A white X-shaped scar covers the eye that once bore his rank, slashed away by Muzan when he was stripped of his standing.
His most unusual feature is the set of tsuzumi drums embedded in his shoulders, stomach, hips, and back, all formed from his own flesh and used to power his Blood Demon Art. As a human he looked much the same, save for white sclera, and dressed in a patterned kimono and haori.
Unlike the loud and savage demons that fill the Corps' records, Kyogai is quiet, soft-spoken, and calculating. Rather than roar when annoyed, he mutters under his breath, and he treats intruders in his home as prey to be destroyed.
Above all, Kyogai longs to have his talent recognized. As a human he was mocked for his writing and his drumming, and that humiliation drove much of his desperation to prove himself within the Twelve Kizuki. When Tanjiro finally acknowledges the worth of his art at the moment of his defeat, the demon is at last able to find peace.
Kyogai is a relatively strong demon, the most formidable opponent Tanjiro had faced up to that point. He held off both Tanjiro and Inosuke at once, his constant reorientation of the room leaving them badly disoriented. Like all demons he can reshape his own flesh, and as a former Lower Rank his control is precise enough to form the ropes and skins of his drums perfectly.
His Blood Demon Art, called Drum Spells, relies on six tsuzumi set across his body. Striking the shoulder or leg drums spins the surrounding room in different directions, the navel drum launches a clawed slash, and the back drum teleports people between rooms within his mansion. His range is limited to the building's interior, and Kyogai himself is immune to the spinning. His strongest technique, Rapid Drumming, speeds up his playing to amplify every effect and increase the number of claws from three to five.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle earned $778 million globally and nearly 40 billion yen in Japan, but it still couldn't top Mugen Train's domestic record. Here's why that barely matters....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
