Mitsuri Kanroji is the Love Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps during the Taisho era. Warm and easily flustered, she hides extraordinary physical power and fights with a uniquely flexible whip-like blade through her self-made Love Breathing.
Mitsuri is a curvaceous young woman with pale skin and a slender frame that conceals dense muscle. She has large, bright pale green eyes, a small beauty mark under each, and long thick hair worn in three braids that shifts from pink to lime green at the midpoint. She once dyed it black at seventeen in an attempt to seem ordinary for a marriage interview.
She wears a heavily altered Corps uniform with a snug jacket left open at the chest, a pleated miniskirt in place of the usual hakama, and lime green striped thigh-highs given to her by Obanai Iguro. Over it she keeps a white haori from her mentor Kyojuro Rengoku. During her clash with Zohakuten her Demon Slayer Mark surfaces near her collarbone as two opposed red hearts.
Mitsuri is emotional, passionate, and cheerful, forever gushing over her comrades in her head, which fits her title as the Hashira of Love. Though shy and quick to fluster, she is deeply kind. She can also seem childlike and prone to dramatic overreactions, yet she shows no mercy toward demons and speaks of them with fierce resolve.
She originally joined the Corps hoping to find a husband stronger than herself, a search complicated by her immense strength, and she long carried guilt over that motive. She harbored quiet feelings for Obanai but could never confess them, held back by the trauma of her past marriage meetings, and in her final moments she begged him to survive and hoped they might meet again in another life.
As a Hashira, Mitsuri is a formidable combatant who cleared Final Selection after only six months of training. Her body has a rare muscular makeup that is roughly eight times denser than a normal person's, granting strength comparable to Giyu, Kyojuro, and Sanemi, and to sustain it she eats enormous amounts. Using only her own grip, she ripped away Muzan's whip-like arm, an act that stunned the Demon King himself.
By overcoming her fear of rejection and pushing her circulation harder, she unconsciously awakened her Demon Slayer Mark while battling Zohakuten, sharply raising her speed, precision, and power. She invented Love Breathing from the Flame Breathing she learned under Kyojuro, wielding an extremely thin, flexible Nichirin sword akin to an urumi that only she can safely use, allowing curving slashes across wide ranges no ordinary katana could reach.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle earned $778 million globally and nearly 40 billion yen in Japan, but it still couldn't top Mugen Train's domestic record. Here's why that barely matters....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
