Personality

Like Zenitsu before him, Yoshiteru is given to dramatic reactions, weeping openly as he reads of his ancestors' courage. He has also inherited a flirtatious streak, drawing trouble when he is caught staring at women, including the reincarnation of Mitsuri Kanroji, which earns him a threat from the reborn Obanai Iguro. Despite this bravado, he is submissive toward his older sister Toko and quick to defend himself whenever she scolds him.

History

Yoshiteru uncovers his great-grandfather's account of the fight against Muzan in a storage unit and is overcome with emotion, only to be chided by Toko for neglecting his studies. On the walk to school he asks his sister whether she believes in reincarnation, sharing his conviction that all who died fighting demons were reborn into happier lives.

Along the way the siblings notice many people who resemble figures from the past, including newborn twins like Muichiro and Yuichiro and students who look like Shinobu and Kanae. Yoshiteru reacts with jealousy when their relative Kanata Kamado seems to flirt with Toko. At school he peers over a friend's shoulder at a painting and learns it is one of the many celebrated works by the artist Yushiro, who endlessly paints a woman named Tamayo in loving detail. Yoshiteru debuts in Chapter 205.
