Final Moments

Tanjiro stirs awake amid wrecked buildings and learns that Nezuko pulled him clear of the collapse. Too weak to stand, he is carried toward a voice he knows belongs to Zenitsu, who has woken with no memory of the fight and warns that Inosuke's pulse is fading nearby.

As Inosuke slips closer to death from poison, Tanjiro panics over options that would take too long. Nezuko instead sets Inosuke ablaze, and the flames burn away the poison and heal him until he wakes demanding food. The group embraces in relief while Tanjiro weeps.

Across the ruins, Tengen is dying because the antidote has failed. His three wives quarrel and grieve until Nezuko appears and ignites him too, drawing him back from the brink. Tanjiro explains that Nezuko's power has somehow neutralized the poison in both men.

Tanjiro confirms that his companions have all survived the night.

Nezuko's flames cure the poison afflicting Inosuke and Tengen Uzui.

Tanjiro gathers a sample of Upper Rank blood and hands it to Tamayo's cat familiar, Chachamaru, for study.

The siblings find the two demon heads, Gyutaro and Daki, bitterly blaming each other as they disintegrate.

This installment closes out the major action of the Entertainment District Arc and pivots toward its emotional aftermath. It appears in Volume 11 and was adapted in Episode 44 of the anime. Nezuko's fire-based Blood Demon Art is shown functioning as a remedy rather than a weapon, a turning point for how her abilities are understood.
