The Day Naruto Was Born

With Obito newly vulnerable, Yin-Kurama needles Minato about leaving the mess for his son to sort out, while Tobirama sees echoes of Hashirama in how Naruto blends the Flying Thunder God Technique with senjutsu. Obito answers by growing an enormous blossoming tree whose four flowers each begin gathering a Tailed Beast Ball. The allied ninja scramble, and only two of the projectiles can be teleported clear by Minato and Tobirama before Obito seals the Alliance inside a barrier alongside the tree.

The breakthrough comes when Naruto and Minato knock fists, reuniting the split halves of Kurama and letting the fox's cloak spread back across the trapped shinobi. Obito taunts Minato about the coming anniversary of his and Kushina's deaths, but Naruto reframes the date as his own birthday, and Minato quietly marvels at the man his boy has become. As Obito fires the beast balls, the entire force vanishes unharmed, relayed out of the barrier through Naruto's shared chakra. Tobirama compares the trick to the way clones divide chakra, then reveals that he authored the Shadow Clone Technique itself.

Obito conjures the giant flowering tree and each bloom charges a Tailed Beast Ball, forcing the Alliance to defend against multiple beast balls at once. Naruto and Minato fist-bump to link both halves of Kurama and reestablish the protective chakra cloak over the allied ninja. Jugo appears and urges Sasuke to withdraw by reverse summoning, and Naruto extends his chakra to that group as well. Minato teleports the entire force clear of Obito's barrier the instant the beast balls detonate. Tobirama identifies himself as the original creator of the Shadow Clone Technique.

The chapter adapts material from the manga's 643rd and 644th installments and belongs to the Birth of the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki arc. Naruto declines his father's offer of a longer talk, saying it is unnecessary since he has already felt his mother's chakra. An animation slip appears during the episode: Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan is drawn with Madara's design rather than his own.
