The Dream's Revelation

Far off on the moon, a shadowy figure studies the stars and reads a constellation as the omen of a coming harvest. Down in Konoha, Boruto joins Denki, Shikadai, and Iwabee for a Kagemasa movie, and over dinner the group weighs the film against the reality of a shinobi's life. On the train and later over a meal, Boruto talks with Shikadai about the spectre only he can see, and Shikadai floats the idea that he may be awakening the Byakugan. Mitsuki appears and agrees the mystery is worth chasing. Boruto, meanwhile, still keeps the strange eye a secret from his father.

That night the moon-gazing figure visits Boruto's dream, telling him his eye will matter and hinting at a grand destiny. Waking with his vision altered, Boruto glimpses the change in a mirror and grows thrilled. Shikamaru brings Naruto a report noting Boruto was present at every incident, raising the question of whether the boy is a suspect or a target.
