Makoto Takei presides over the student council at Kaibara Municipal High School before Yuki Sohma takes the role, and his open infatuation with Yuki colors nearly everything he does. Years later, Fruits Basket Another finds him teaching at that same school and doting on Yuki's son.
Rectangular black-framed glasses sit over dark, seriously drawn eyes, and his brown hair stays neatly parted to one side with a few strands loose across the forehead. A lean, fairly tall frame and a pale, narrow face round out a look that reads as tidy and studious. His purple school uniform, a matching long-sleeved top and trousers, carries white trim at the collar, cuffs, and hem along with a white tie, finished by pale shoes accented in gray.
He enforces the school rulebook without flexibility and will go to any length to stamp out what he sees as a student's misconduct. Almost every impulse, though, bends toward Yuki: he handpicks Yuki as his replacement and admits he would gladly reclaim the post just to watch him more often. Adulthood brings no softening, and his rants still run hot enough to summon Black Haru.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
When first introduced during the second year, he berates Hatsuharu Sohma over his two-toned hair, insisting the code forbids it despite Yuki's objections, then turns on Momiji Sohma for wearing the girls' uniform. Tohru Honda's attempt to shield Momiji does nothing to stop him, and by then Haru has flipped to his darker self and hauls Makoto off to the bathroom for a beating. In Fruits Basket Another he works as a teacher, first shown reprimanding a tardy Sawa Mitoma before Mutsuki Sohma interrupts, a boy he pines over much as he once pined over the father. Early in the manga he is a second-year, and he taps Kakeru Manabe and Machi Kuragi to serve on the council beside Yuki.
