Mio Hasegawa

A perpetual bright smile lights up her fair-skinned face, set with large, dark eyes. She is notably tiny and petite, wearing her short, light-colored hair gathered into a braided bun with two strands loose beside her cheeks and neatly even bangs across her brow.

Gentle, upbeat, and thoughtful, Mio greeted Sawa warmly and was thrilled to gain a new council member. Though somewhat dreamy and quiet, she is dependable and self-reliant, handling her treasurer's duties with real seriousness and stepping in whenever someone needs help. She is close to her fellow officers Hajime, Mutsuki Sohma, and Chiaki Hasada, gets on well with Sora Sohma and Michi Manabe, and admires Hajime's diligence even as she confesses she never manages to study once she gets home.

As treasurer, Mio welcomes Sawa on her first day and assures her that Mutsuki will not push her too hard. She misses Michi's sukiyaki party because of a prior commitment but is steadily present in council life, acting as a kind of senior to Sawa by handing out tasks and offering guidance on how to improve. Long accustomed to the constant bickering between Hajime and Mutsuki, she simply finds it endearing and watches over the two, and she spends easy time among the other Sohmas, Sora in particular.
