The Sohma summer retreat nears its final night, and Momiji's fireworks promise a gentle send-off. Beneath the celebration, Akito storms in to remind Tohru where she stands, wounding both her and Momiji and forcing Tohru to decide how far she will go to shield the family she has come to love.
As the Sohma getaway reaches its closing days, Momiji stocks up on fireworks so the group can send the trip off in style on their last evening there. Tohru quietly marvels at how much calmer Yuki and Kyo have grown over the break, and she cannot help overhearing Kyo and Momiji admit to one another how badly they want to keep her safe from Akito, even as they feel guilty for wanting her near. The mood turns sharply once Akito, agitated and summoned back to the main house by Kureno, comes looking for her.
Akito orders Momiji to fetch Tohru and strikes the boy when he hesitates, prompting Tohru to throw herself between them. In a cruel speech he insists she means nothing to Yuki or Kyo, and reveals that Kyo faces lifelong confinement once school ends, the same fate that met the previous Cat. Declaring himself a god who owns the Zodiac members body and soul, Akito drags his nails down Tohru's cheek and warns her to keep away. Hatori, alerted by Momiji, arrives to treat the injuries while Yuki, Kyo, and Haru look on from a distance, ashamed they did nothing to help.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
The following day the younger cousins gather at the beach for the promised fireworks, where Kyo recalls setting off his first ones years earlier with his teacher, Kazuma. Rin lingers apart from the group, watching without joining in. Steeling herself, Tohru resolves to break the curse no matter the cost to her, and Yuki tells her he will treasure the summer they shared. The episode borrows its title from a question Tohru puts to Akito, marks her first meeting with Kureno, and adds several anime-only touches, including Kureno discovering Akito's empty room.
