Field of View was formed on February 9, 1994, by vocalist U-ya Asaoka, guitarist Takashi Oda, keyboardist Jun Abe, and drummer Takuto Kohashi. The band lasted until December 2002, releasing 22 singles, five studio albums, and five compilation albums in total. Their first concert, Live Horizon Version 1, occurred in 1996, with subsequent tours expanding their presence throughout the 1990s. The band reunited in 2012 for a special event and again in 2020 for their 25th anniversary celebration, proving the lasting impact of their work.
