Eel Boy

Bold black striping runs across a yellow bodysuit, which Eel Boy pairs with a matching utility belt and boots trimmed in tan. Circular bumps sit on the backs of his hands to give his Quirk somewhere to emerge. His build and height are unremarkable, and his mask has split apart at the mouth, leaving his jagged teeth on show. An older version of the costume used rings in place of most of the striping, left the torso unmarked, and still fit neatly around his lips.

The little that is seen of him points to courage. He moves in on Himiko Toga and Mr. Compress without hesitation, telling the pair that whatever drove them to villainy, heroes cannot stand aside once they intend to hurt people. Ochaco Uraraka later recalls him smiling as civilians shouted encouragement, a sign the public liked him and backed him.

Edgeshot leads the Villa Raid Team during the Paranormal Liberation War, and Eel Boy is among the heroes under him. His Quirk snares Mr. Compress alongside Himiko Toga, and he radios the capture in at once, but the eels never get their chance to swallow the pair and lock them down: a Double left behind by the deceased Twice drives a blade into the back of his head. Death is instant, his Quirk switches off with him, and both villains slip loose.

Himiko afterward borrows his face through Transform, cutting down a string of heroes while wearing his likeness to avenge her comrade. When the war is tallied, his name sits among the dead. His unnamed Eel Quirk sprouted giant eel-like limbs that could bite, restrain, or swallow a target outright, their heightened senses tracking whoever he was after.
