A pair of ghoul siblings who ranked as executives within Aogiri Tree. CCG investigators nicknamed them the Tail Brothers. Devoted to the One-Eyed King's cause and skilled at fighting in coordinated pairs, they were both killed by Koutarou Amon.
Each brother hid his face behind a distinct mask patterned with its own geometric design, while otherwise wearing the standard Aogiri Tree attire. The elder had short spiky hair, dark nails, and, with the lower half of his mask off, faintly sharp cheekbones. The anime dresses the pair in purple-blue robes rather than the maroon worn by their peers, and both are shown with somewhat long, messy dark hair when Amon kills them.
By Aogiri standards their temperament was fairly moderate. In a losing exchange they would fall back on mockery to throw an opponent off balance. Both had sworn loyalty to the One-Eyed King and embraced the organization's ideals wholeheartedly.
The brothers were present when Kaneki was brought before Tatara. During the Anti-Aogiri escape attempt, one of them noticed the plan and moved to stop it, wounding Kazuichi Banjou before a drawn-out clash with Kaneki, Jiro, Ichimi, and Sante damaged his mask. The standoff broke when Yamori arrived and recaptured the escapees, waving the brothers off despite their claim that finishing the runaways was their job.
When the CCG stormed the hideout, the pair led squads against the investigators until Amon confronted them and used his quinque to kill them in quick succession as they attempted another combined strike. As ghouls they enjoyed enhanced physicality and fought in tight coordination, each carrying a single bikaku tail, while their leadership let them gather large numbers of followers. They had a step-sister, Yumitsu Tomoe, nicknamed Little Bin, who held them in high esteem and hoped to avenge them.
