A month after the auction operation, the Quinx Squad throws a Christmas Eve gathering at their Chateau home. Sasaki and Saiko stay cheerful, Shirazu and Mutsuki savor a rare day off, and everyone is put to work on preparations, with Urie roped into shopping from Mutsuki's vaguely written list. The earliest guests to arrive are Kuramoto Itou and Takeomi Kuroiwa, followed by a Halloween-confused Suzuya and Hanbee, and finally Arima and Akira Mado.
Over dinner the guests marvel at the Quinx's growing fame within the CCG, look ahead to an awards ceremony, and trade wild rumors about Arima, some of which prove partly true.
