Appearance

The trait that sets Oliver apart from any pure Viltrumite is the purple skin he inherits from his Thraxan mother, though his frame otherwise reads as broadly human like his father. Accelerated growth pushes him through several looks in a short span: an infant sporting a mop reminiscent of young Mark, then a smaller, leaner boy whose face is bracketed by a pair of bangs. When he shoots up into a teenager he lands just under Mark's height, his hair falls straight and chin length, faint stubble arrives, and his complexion warms toward pink as the Viltrumite side of his genetics wins out.

His wardrobe tracks each stage. As a small child he wears a white and grey shirt and trousers echoing the plain uniform his father once wore, and around nine or ten he switches to a casual white top with red sleeves and collar over dark grey pants, later layering on a red hoodie in his teens. For his earliest fights he improvised a disguise of an orange and white outfit finished with goggles and a scarf that hid his identity, the look he wore against Tether Tyrant and Magmaniac. His formal Kid Omni-Man costume pairs a black eye mask with a red top, black shorts, and yellow gloves and boots, marked by a yellow O threaded through a red I that ties his identity to his brother. Growing older, he upgrades to a darker red and black suit with red gloves and mask and a black version of the chest emblem.

Personality

In infancy Oliver is all curiosity, energy, and affection. Once he reaches his preteen years he stays lively but grows headstrong and impulsive, brimming with confidence in his own strength and often blind to the fallout of his choices. Though he cares about people, his drive to be a hero pushes him toward a hard practicality, and he will kill dangerous foes outright if he judges it the surest way to stop further harm, an outlook shaped both by the brutality he has witnessed and by Viltrumite thinking. His enormous power and rapid aging leave him struggling to grasp how fragile ordinary beings are, yet this comes from difficulty understanding vulnerability rather than any lack of heart, and his family can talk him around.

By adolescence he behaves much more like a regular kid his age, ribbing Mark and Eve about their romance and squirming when Debbie shows him affection. He keeps his father's symbol but insists on deciding for himself what it stands for, and unlike Nolan he chases heroism rather than conquest. His confidence can tip into swagger, as when he props his feet on Titan's desk and boasts of outdoing Mark, though he softens the moment he notices Titan's frightened daughter. Over time he learns restraint, urging Mark to stop beating Titan, admitting he cannot handle Mr. Liu's dragon form and calling for help, and trying to spare lives where he can. He is fiercely loyal, looks up to Mark, and heeds Debbie, while his Thraxan side reminds him he will outlast the humans he loves. His deepest flaw stays constant: a recklessness that hurls him into dangers his power cannot always survive.

Abilities

As a Viltrumite-Thraxan hybrid whose Viltrumite genes steadily take over, Oliver grows nearly indistinguishable from a full-blooded member of his father's race, while the early clash of his two lineages left marks such as his purple skin and a sped-up childhood. His Thraxan mother also gifted him an extraordinary capacity to learn, so he walked, spoke, and manifested powers absurdly early, with near-perfect recall to match. He flies at great speed with fine control, shrugs off explosions, gunfire, and energy blasts, heals grievous wounds within days, can go long stretches without food or air, and tires only under catastrophic damage. His aging, once frantic, settles as he matures, pointing toward a lifespan of thousands of years.

His raw strength has climbed through a string of brutal fights: he tore through one of the Mauler Twins, later downed the Elephant with ease, hoisted collapsed roadway to save a civilian during the Invincible War, and helped kill the variants Capvincible and Hairvincible. Stronger foes still outclass him. Conquest nearly killed him twice, Mister Liu beat him until Mark stepped in, and Thragg crushed his hand, broke his jaw, and severed his arm, leaving him comatose but slowly regenerating over his prosthetic. A gift for learning from every beating lets him improve fast, and after training under both Mark and Nolan his combat skill sharpened enough to land a clean blow on a serious Nolan. Like all of his kind, he is undone by extreme force, high-frequency sound, and the Scourge Virus.
