The Super Fight is a martial arts tournament staged at the C-City Super Stadium once every six months, drawing entrants from recognized dojos. Its most eventful edition ends in chaos when the Monster Association crashes the celebrations.
Held twice a year inside the C-City Super Stadium, the Super Fight invites established dojos to enter their members in open competition. By the point the story reaches it, twenty-two of these tournaments have taken place. The inaugural event drew the heaviest turnout of them all, attracting enormous publicity and smashing every attendance record on the books.
Beyond crowning a champion, the tournament doubles as a stage for fighters to advertise their schools or build their personal reputations. The twenty-second edition gathers eighteen competitors spanning a wide spread of disciplines, from Sneck's Biting Snake Fist and Max's Hyper Karate to Choze's Fist of the Pure Blood Master Race, with Saitama secretly entered under the alias Charanko using a made-up Water Polo Carbonated Fist. The bracket runs through preliminary bouts, quarter-finals, and semi-finals before the final match, and Saitama fights his way to that final in disguise, only to be disqualified there against Suiryu.
Suiryu is the tournament's most decorated fighter, having claimed five titles across the eleventh through fourteenth events and the twenty-second. Bakuzan holds two victories, while Bang, Garou competing as Wolfman in the twenty-first, and Gouketsu as the very first champion each own a single win. The twenty-second field also features memorable names such as Zakos, Sour Face, Lin Lin, Volten, Benpatsu, and Bakuzan, several of whom later become monsters when Gouketsu invades.
Saitama secretly entered the twenty second Super Fight under the alias Charanko using a made up style called Water Polo Carbonated Fist, and he fought his way to the final where he faced Suiryu before being disqualified.
