History

He first turns up during the Quinx investigation, chatting with Nutcracker in a cafe. At the auction he springs on the Quinx and Atou squads and kills one of their number. A short exchange with Haise Sasaki marks him as a tough opponent, and on Matsuri Washuu's orders the Atou squad takes him on alone while the Quinx press deeper into the building. He falls only after a savage fight, having slain three members of the squad. His koukaku kagune formed a pair of shield-like plates below the shoulder blades that framed his arms, strong enough to block strikes and shatter stone pillars.
