History

With the Torso case shelved, the Quinx Squad was pulled in to back the Suzuya Squad on her investigation. Haise Sasaki spelled out her disturbing feeding habits to Ginshi Shirazu and Tooru Mutsuki, unsettling them both. Her identity soon came to light, but because she was tangled in a human-trafficking operation and an underground gourmet society, the investigators chose to watch rather than strike. The Quinx tailed her as she met contacts, and after learning she was scouting young women for an upcoming auction, they sent members undercover as bait. A tipsy Mutsuki managed to draw out the details of the supposed job along with the auction's date.

On the day itself she drove Mutsuki and Juuzou Suzuya to the venue, then knocked them out with gas piped into the car. She hauled Mutsuki onstage, where the reveal that the mystery lot was a one-eyed ghoul sparked a bidding frenzy that closed at a record two hundred million yen. When the CCG stormed the event, her bid to flee with her prize failed. Later she ambushed a group of investigators in a control room, unveiling a rare dual kagune and killing several, crushing and eating one man's genitals and devouring a woman's face. A dying call reached Matsuri Washuu, who bumped her threat rating from A up to S and set the Quinx on her.

Her agility and detachable kagune traps made her dangerous, impaling Shirazu and battering Naoto Hayashimura, but she blundered into one of her own traps and was pinned. Saiko's kagune left her motionless, and Shirazu finished her off. In her last breath she recalled her poverty and her wish to be beautiful, words that shook him. Months later her kakuhou became a new quinque for Shirazu, one that haunted him with nightmares and visions until he finally brought himself to wield it against Noro.
