Takayoshi Tanimoto
音楽家Japanese vocalist, composer, and songwriter born April 14, 1975 in Kure, Hiroshima. Tanimoto is best known for performing multiple theme songs for Dragon Ball Z Kai, bringing energetic vocals to opening and ending sequences.
Dragon Ball Z Kai Themes
Tanimoto performed the opening themes "Dragon Soul" and "Kuu-Zen-Zetsu-Go" for Dragon Ball Z Kai, plus the ending theme "Yeah! Break! Care! Break!" His powerful vocal delivery brought contemporary energy to classic material. "Dragon Soul" peaked at 23rd on the Oricon singles chart and remained in the charts for eleven consecutive weeks. He also sang the first opening for Super Dragon Ball Heroes alongside Mayumi Gojo and YOFFY.
Music Career
Tanimoto began his musical career as a studio musician in 1996 and became known for performing anime and Sentai series theme songs. Beyond Dragon Ball, he provided themes for Digimon Tamers and Gekiranger, establishing himself as a reliable vocalist for action-oriented entertainment properties.
