CharacterTama is a British Shorthair cat who wanders through Diamond is Unbreakable. After a chance strike from the mysterious Arrow, the animal dies and returns as a sentient plant-Stand hybrid known as Stray Cat, keeping its temper, its memories, and a grudge against the woman who killed it.
Appearance
Tama is a blue-grey British Shorthair with warm gold eyes. Its single most striking feature is the open wound gaping through its throat, a hole punched by the Arrow that changed its fate.
Personality
Stubborn to the core, the cat refuses to abandon its chosen spot in the cellar even when Shinobu Kawajiri tries to drive it out. Once killed, it nurses a clear thirst for payback and lunges at Shinobu the moment it spots her in the garden. Toward Kira it stays affectionate, and although he briefly views the reborn Stray Cat as a danger, the animal forgives him easily and takes his side. After Kira is gone, it settles in comfortably alongside Okuyasu's father.

History
Tama began as an ordinary stray, dozing beside a tree when the Arrow found it. Seeking shelter, it holed up in the cellar of the Kawajiri house, where Shinobu's attempt to chase it off ended with the cat impaled on a shard of broken glass. Buried in the family garden, its dormant Stand stirred and dragged it back to life as a cat-shaped plant, Stray Cat, able to gather the surrounding air and fire it off as pressurized bubbles.
