History

While in her second year at Saitama Urami East Junior High, Fujinuma visited Yasohachi Bridge after dark as part of a club outing, accompanied by Tsumiki Fushiguro and another senior student. About a week before crossing paths with her old classmate Megumi again, she began experiencing something strange: every other day, on returning home alone, she would discover the automatic door of her house standing open. The disturbance, which badly frightened her, traced back to the curse haunting Yasohachi Bridge.

Once her younger brother told her that Megumi was looking into the death of a former Saitama Urami East student connected to the bridge, Fujinuma rode out with him the following day to track Megumi down. Meeting him, she recounted what she had endured during her second year, including the recurring open door at the family store that doubled as their home. She also revealed that she had not gone to the bridge by herself back then, naming Tsumiki as the companion who had been with her, before departing again with her brother.
