Furudate

Furudate is a minor character in Jujutsu Kaisen who serves as the executor handling the will of Naobito Zenin. His brief role sets a key piece of Zenin Clan succession in motion during the Culling Game Arc.

Furudate declared that Naoya is to become the twenty-seventh head of the Zenin Clan and inherit the entirety of its holdings, including cursed tools kept at Jujutsu High and in the clan's warehouses. He noted that Naoya would only assume those full responsibilities once either Ogi or Jinichi granted approval.

Furudate disclosed a clause rooted in a written arrangement with Toji Fushiguro, stipulating that should Satoru Gojo die or be left mentally incapacitated, the position of Zenin Clan head would instead pass to Megumi Fushiguro. This final provision was the only point that cracked his steady demeanor.

Acting as executor, Furudate informed Naoya, Ogi, and Jinichi that Naobito had died and that the will could only be read with all three of them gathered together. Once none of them raised any objection, he began the reading.

Furudate is a small, elderly man whose eyes seem to stay nearly shut behind his glasses. He sports a mustache, and the hair on his head is wound up into a single point.
