Personality

Because Kenjaku stole his form, the ancestor's true character remains unknown. Operating in his stolen body, Kenjaku earned a reputation as a cruel man, regarded both as a stain on the Kamo Clan and as the most evil sorcerer who ever lived. His Meiji Era experiments were so monstrous that every record of them was destroyed, and even the curses born from them, despite harboring no hatred for humanity, came to loathe him.

History

Destined to be remembered as history's most infamous sorcerer, Noritoshi had his body and identity seized by Kenjaku, who swapped in his own brain to commit the atrocities that cemented the legend. During the Meiji Era he ran a temple where a woman able to bear human-spirit hybrids had fled. Records state he imprisoned her out of intellectual curiosity and subjected her to repeated experiments, resulting in nine pregnancies and nine abortions that produced the nine Cursed Womb: Death Paintings. According to Choso, he mixed his own blood into some of the wombs, passing the Kamo Clan's inherited Blood Manipulation on to them.
