Sukuna is the chief villain of Jujutsu Kaisen, the strongest sorcerer ever to live and the unrivaled King of Curses. Born more than a millennium ago, he outlasted death by dividing his soul among twenty fingers that cannot be destroyed.
His authentic body is a tall, heavily built man bearing four arms, an extra pair of eyes, and a wide mouth slit across the stomach. Pink-red hair, kept short, crowns a face where the two eyes on the right are set at uneven angles atop bone that pushes outward from the flesh. Inked lines run black over his wrists, ankles, upper arms, torso, midriff, and face, joined by large dots on each shoulder, and every one of these markings surfaces on whatever vessel he commands, where the arm and wrist lines double, rings ring the shoulder dots, a stripe crosses the nose, and a crown-shaped mark settles on the brow. Many who saw his grotesque form took him for a demon sporting twin faces and four arms; the truth is that he was a person who wielded jujutsu, not a cursed spirit at all. Over a pair of light trousers he tends to wear a black haori loose on his shoulders, since clothing that unusual torso is no easy matter. While he occupied Yuji Itadori he bore that boy's appearance, the spiked pink hair tipped forward, and a lower set of eyes would open beneath Yuji's whenever he assumed control. Once relocated into Megumi Fushiguro, he wore Megumi's face the same way, clad in a black undershirt and white kimono beneath a black haori, garments he steadily lost across his Shinjuku battles.
Selfish, pleasure-seeking, and viciously cruel, Sukuna thrives on carnage and the cries of those he tortures, an appetite he revealed the instant he first stirred within Yuji. Such crushing power leaves him careless of any fallout, even what lands on his own host, and he mocks Yuji at will, savoring the boy's misery. He insists he pursues no aim or ambition, casting that void as his advantage over the sorcerers who strengthen themselves chasing one, yet he has let resentment from his origins slip out. He gorges himself not just on food and human flesh but on battle, so he often stretches out fights with strong foes when ending them swiftly would serve him better. His pride is bottomless, but it must never be read as foolishness, which he showed by ripping out Yuji's heart to compel a binding vow and by tricking Hana Kurusu into dropping her guard.
A consistent philosophy underlies the savagery. Sukuna equates people with vermin and cannot grasp why the feeble grip onto life or demand happiness while falling apart at the lightest touch, a scorn that hardens into open social darwinism and an empty understanding of love and bonds, which he judges to be worthless. Pity or offered mercy enrages him, since he reads either as the verdict that he is weak, his whole identity resting on standing as the strongest. Even so, hypocrisy threads through his stance, and now and then he can grant an opponent acknowledgment and praise, telling Jogo to stand proud and once taking a young Uraume in as his subordinate. Yuji, his polar opposite and the grandson of his own reborn twin brother, unsettles him in a way he cannot escape, breeding a hatred beyond words. After death he turns introspective, granting to Mahito that he had deceived himself about his thirst for revenge and confessing that dread of his own curse had pushed him toward ruin, before he made his peace with losing.
Across the Heian Era, jujutsu's golden age, Sukuna was feared as the mightiest living sorcerer, having slain thousands who honed their skills against him, the Fujiwara Clan's elite Sun, Moon, and Stars Squad together with the Five Empty Generals among them in one rampage. Those exploits won him the names King of Curses and Strongest Sorcerer in History, a reputation so towering that even Satoru Gojo conceded a duel between them would prove a struggle. Vast cursed energy answers to him with uncanny precision, dwarfing special grade curses and sorcerers, while sheer physical force lets him destroy almost any opponent without ever showing his true technique. Cut down to a lone finger inside Yuji, he still felled large curses with one swing; with four fingers he shrugged off Mahito's Idle Transfiguration outright; and after Yuji devoured sixteen, his recovered might let him crush Jogo and then defeat Mahoraga alone, something no Ten Shadows wielder had ever pulled off.
Every art falls within his grasp. A master of hand-to-hand fighting, he weds martial arts to his technique, overwhelming Megumi bare-handed and dueling Yuji and Maki Zenin at the same time. His enormous strength split the school roof hard enough to crack the structure and drove Jogo through skyscrapers, while his speed, reflexes, and toughness let him slip past Maximum: Meteor, parry Mahoraga, and even endure an unlimited Hollow Purple with grave but survivable wounds. His cursed energy reserve ranks as likely the largest ever, more than twice Yuta Okkotsu's, and his control runs so clean that he kept his heart beating after it was run through. The innate technique Shrine fires the unseen high-velocity slash Dismantle, the toughness-scaling Cleave, the ground-sweeping Spiderweb, and the far-reaching Divine Flame, while his domain expansion Malevolent Shrine saturates the open air around it with ceaseless slashes out to nearly two hundred meters. Deeply skilled with reverse cursed technique, he mends limbs, scorched techniques, and even his own soul, and possessing Megumi handed him the Ten Shadows Technique with its complete shikigami lineup, the tamed Mahoraga included. Topping it all is keen tactical wit, letting him crack techniques at a glance, conjure binding vows under duress, and sidestep conditions to deliver the world-cutting slash that ended Gojo.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
