Appearance

Lean of frame yet muscular, Negi keeps medium-length black hair in a messy spread above a hard, sharp gaze. Back in 2017 his face bore a long scar down its right side, his hair stood in spikes, and a headband marked with parallel-line decals topped a black long-sleeve shirt, matching trousers, and pale dress boots. A year on, a strip cut from a fresh headband now masks his right eye completely, his hair falls far looser, and a skintight black bodysuit sits beneath a pale monk's robe that drapes mainly over his left flank.

Personality

Details on the man stay scarce, though his commitment to Geto's vision of erasing non-sorcerers is unmistakable. Ordinary people he labels monkeys, wishing suffering on every one of them so the powerful endure while curses fade out for good. Slaying fellow sorcerers in combat is not something he seeks, yet he attacks when forced. The Hasaba sisters demand the imposter wearing Geto's body be destroyed for the defilement, but Negi and Manami instead permit Pseudo-Geto to remain so the legacy continues, with Negi holding that the body is no business of theirs and that realizing Geto's envisioned world is the genuine way to inherit his will.

Abilities

What Negi can actually do as a sorcerer is never spelled out, but his standing as one of Geto's former commanders marks him as a competent combatant. when the hundred-demon night assault descended on Kyoto, he counted among its heavy hitters. Bold enough to challenge the grade 1 sorcerer Atsuya Kusakabe, he failed to unsettle his opponent in the slightest; Kusakabe sized him up as trivial next to the special grades prowling Shibuya at the time.
