Yoshinobu Gakuganji serves as principal of Kyoto Jujutsu High and sits among the jujutsu higher-ups. A hardline traditionalist who once plotted Yuji Itadori's death, he routes cursed energy through an electric guitar in combat.
Gakuganji is an elderly man with a bald, elongated head, vast pale eyebrows curving downward where his face ends, plus a goatee of similar light coloring. Piercings dot his features in number: one ring through the nose, a pair beneath the lower lip, three on each upper ear, and a single stud in each sizeable earlobe.
His clothing layers a pale nagajuban over a dark shirt printed with light lettering, set against a dark hakama, pale tabi, and zori, and he gets around with the aid of a wooden cane. When a fight calls for it, he opens a carrying case and draws out his guitar.
Devoted to the old ways, Gakuganji pressed for Yuji Itadori's execution and saw Satoru Gojo as a destructive irritant, a hostility the two stoked in each other. Once it was clear Gojo meant to stall, the principal turned scheming, exploiting the Goodwill Event as a screen for an assassination and wielding both cursed spirits and his pupils alike as disposable tools toward it. For all that, he bore Yuji no personal grudge. Bending entrenched rules struck him as dangerous, above all where a calamity like Sukuna's resurrection was at stake, yet he moved fast to protect the Goodwill Event under attack and joined forces with Gojo, naming student safety the priority over beating the foe. He could also gauge an opponent's skill at a single glance.
Masamichi Yaga's death left him grieving and convinced the loss was meaningless, all the more so since Yaga had just shown him how to make abrupt-mutation cursed corpses. He felt his peers should have cursed him for it and puzzled over why none did, but he carried the corpse-making secret without disclosing it to the higher-ups, a restraint that stunned Gojo and led him to believe little danger remained with Headquarters in Gakuganji's hands.
Heading Kyoto Jujutsu High, Gakuganji rates as a powerful sorcerer, having taken down a grade 1 in his counterpart Masamichi Yaga with another fighter's assistance. His unnamed innate technique, called Sound Amplifier, converts his own body into an amplification device so that melodies struck on his electric guitar fire outward as waves of cursed energy.
His weapon of choice is a V-shaped red electric guitar patterned after a Gibson Flying V, treated as a semi-cursed tool and kept in its case until battle. It paired with his technique until the bout against Masamichi smashed it apart. Once Headquarters passed to him, the rival higher-ups dead by his own hand, Gojo reckoned there was little to fear from that direction even should he himself fall.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
