Face to face again for the first time since Shibuya fell apart, Megumi asks Yuji to lend his power toward freeing Tsumiki from the Culling Game. Desperate for information, the group puts together a dangerous scheme to reach the core of Jujutsu High and the being sealed there.

Yuji agrees on one condition, that Yuta kill him if Sukuna ever seizes control again, and Yuta consents. The plan is to gather at Jujutsu High and reach Master Tengen to learn how to unseal Gojo and what Kenjaku is after. The obstacle is the sealed Tombs of the Star Corridor, where Tengen's concealing barrier ceaselessly rotates over a thousand doors with a single true route. Choso reveals he can lead them, recalling that Mahito had once made off with the Death Painting Wombs and Sukuna's fingers from that same warehouse, so his bond with the brothers held there will mark the path.

Slipping in, the team meets Yuki Tsukumo and Maki in the hidden movie room. Maki looks dramatically different, her hair cropped short, her left eye bandaged, her body scarred by burns from Jogo's flames, surviving only thanks to the physical durability her Heavenly Restriction grants. When Yuji asks after Nobara, Megumi can only cast a pained look downward. After Yuji reluctantly tells the group to treat Choso, for the time being, as an older brother of his, they set out.

The correct door opens not onto a floor but a drop into an ancient forest. Passing the cursed warehouse, Choso pauses to ask his brothers to hold on a little longer. An elevator carries the group down the long corridor toward where Tengen rests, and there Yuki recalls bloodstains left by events eleven years past tied to Toji Fushiguro. They arrive at a white void, and Yuki concludes Tengen is rejecting them, perhaps only her. As the group turns back, a voice halts them, and Tengen appears, welcoming the Zenin offspring, the heir of Michizane's bloodline, the Death Painting Womb, and the one who hosts Sukuna.

The chapter unfolds at Tokyo Jujutsu High and its Tombs of the Star Corridor during the Culling Game Arc. The cover features Yuji and Megumi, and the events span Episodes 49 and 50.
