Key Events

Having struck first with Hollow Purple, Gojo has tagged Sukuna the challenger. Amused, Sukuna mocks him for crowing over an ambush, likens him to a showy fish bound for the same fate as all before, and vows to strip his allure away. Gojo presses why Sukuna keeps Megumi's likeness, insists he is seasoned enough to fight Megumi at full strength, calls dying once as Yuji a blunder, and says he will free Megumi only once Sukuna lies dead.

They collide. Gojo blunts the opening strikes with Infinity and lazy footwork, then hurls Sukuna through a building on Blue's pull. Sukuna lands on a walkway, which Gojo shatters with stomps and flings at him via Blue; dodging it, Sukuna reaches a rooftop and looses Dismantle, splitting a tall building behind Gojo so it falls. As it plunges, Sukuna engages with domain amplification, and rather than reinforce Limitless, Gojo seizes his fist and drags them both into the collapsing tower. Pursued up a vertical shaft, Gojo tears off a door and sets it between them; both unleash cursed-energy punches at once, wrecking the door and leveling the whole building. The pair emerge unscathed, barely warmed up. Gojo jokes he will pin the wreckage on his foe, Sukuna retorts no one would buy it, and Gojo recalls that Mei Mei is streaming the fight live.
