Key Events

Eating ice cream as he waits with Megumi at Harajuku Station, Yuji wonders aloud why a class would have just three pupils. Megumi attributes it to how uncommon jujutsu sorcerers are. Gojo arrives and is glad to find Yuji already wearing his new uniform. Across town, Nobara fails to land a modeling job, and when Yuji and Megumi interrupt her, she sizes them both up with sharp judgment. Gojo dangles the promise of a Tokyo tour for the two recruits, then instead delivers them to a curse-infested abandoned home near a graveyard.

The outing is a field assessment. Gojo orders the duo to exorcise the spirit, instructs Yuji to keep Sukuna's power sealed, and benches Megumi so the spotlight falls on Nobara's capabilities. Inside, Nobara insists they separate, and a curse soon ambushes Yuji, who cuts it down with the Slaughter Demon blade Gojo gave him, his natural athleticism making the kill look effortless. Gojo already understands that Yuji is a touch unhinged, an everyday teenager who slaughters curses without flinching, and today he wants to gauge how far Nobara's edge goes. Nobara, for her part, runs into a mannequin inhabited by a curse and brings her hammer and nails to bear.
