Key Events

Satoru vaguely recalls Toji, who once observed the Gojo child to understand the fuss over the Six Eyes and waited for the boy to tire before striking. Satoru flings him skyward, and Suguru summons a colossal man-eating hookworm curse to swallow the Sorcerer Killer. Reassuring his friend that the wound is reinforced with cursed energy, Satoru tells Suguru to take Riko to Master Tengen while he handles the killer. The group departs as Toji carves his way out of the curse and exorcises it.

Toji reveals he lifted the bounty himself, manufacturing a false deadline to lure them to Okinawa and bait Satoru into deactivating his technique without killing any of his sorcerers. Satoru unleashes Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue, a magnetic pull Toji dodges, leading Satoru to grasp that his enemy carries zero cursed energy and fights on raw physical ability alone. Toji vanishes among the buildings, and Satoru clears blind spots with a maximum-output Blue, only for a swarm of Fly Heads to erupt as a smokescreen. Suspecting Toji has gone after Riko, Satoru is caught off guard when the assassin appears behind him. His Six Eyes detect the alien cursed energy of the special grade cursed tool too late, and Toji drives the Inverted Spear of Heaven through his neck, a weapon that forcibly halts all cursed techniques.
