Key Events

Suguru apologizes for abandoning Kuroi without grasping how valuable she was to the enemy. Satoru, certain they hold the advantage, expects a trade attempt, while Riko refuses to be left out, fearing the merge might claim her before she can say farewell. The captors name Okinawa as the rendezvous, and the trio rescues Kuroi while seizing the kidnappers. They opt to spend their remaining time at the beach, planning to reach the school once the bounty lapses the next day. As a precaution, the school assigns two first-years to lock down the area: Yu Haibara, whose cheer offsets the gloomy Kento Nanami, both posted to guard the premises.

Satoru goofs around with the others and pushes their departure back a day, downplaying Suguru's worry that his technique is straining his body. The group enjoys an aquarium and dinner that night. On the last day, four hours after the bounty is lifted, Riko reaches the foothills of Tokyo Jujutsu High, passing through torii gates into the school's barrier. With the mission nearly complete, Satoru switches off his technique, only for Toji Fushiguro to drive a blade into his back, telling him not to bother remembering his name.
