The seventy-ninth chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled A Taste of Things to Come, closes the past arc with Satoru promising to protect young Megumi, then returns to 2018 as Jujutsu High's mole is exposed in the lead-up to Shibuya.
Satoru Gojo meets a young, first-grade Megumi Fushiguro and lays out the boy's predicament with the Zenin Family, vowing to handle everything and seeding the mentorship that blossoms over a decade later. Back in 2018, the school's traitor is revealed as the date nears October 31st in Shibuya.
Satoru tells Megumi that his father came from the Zenin Family, which prizes those born with a cursed technique. With Megumi's own technique nearing manifestation, the timing is ripe for the clan to buy him, the leverage Toji left behind. The boy shrugs off any concern for his absent father and for Tsumiki's missing mother, caring only about what becomes of Tsumiki. When Satoru needles him over it, Megumi's fierce defense of his sister satisfies him, and he promises to take care of everything while urging the child to grow strong.
Eleven years on, on October 19, 2018, Gojo wakes from dreaming of these memories to find his three students, Megumi among them, watching over him. Proud of how far his protege has come, he smirks before briefing them on the mole and sending them to Utahime, who reveals there are two traitors, one a Jujutsu Higher-Up they cannot yet touch, making the informant feeding that figure their real target. As Utahime narrows it down to Mechamaru by elimination, Kasumi meets him about overdue notebooks while he claims he will sleep. Yuji bursts into a fake hideout, confirming Kokichi Muta is the mole. At his true base, Kokichi meets Mahito and Pseudo-Geto, accusing them of breaking their binding vow by harming the Kyoto students, which Mahito blames on Hanami. Geto stresses they cannot risk violating a vow, and Mahito grudgingly uses Idle Transfiguration to give Kokichi a healthy body for the first time. With nothing left to say, Kokichi and Mahito square off.
The chapter bridges Gojo's Past Arc and the Shibuya Incident Arc, featuring Kokichi Muta's Puppet Manipulation and Mahito's Idle Transfiguration. Utahime Iori, Kasumi Miwa, and Kenjaku appear. The pages were adapted across the twenty-ninth and thirtieth anime episodes.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
