History
Hiroshima is where Kameko studies, at a hero school that also handed her two friends: Sameko and Rumi Usagiyama. The three travel to Osaka on a school trip and lose their bearings looking for Tsutenkaku Tower.
A young Taishiro Toyomitsu, out on patrol, points them the right way before moving on, and the girls thank him and turn back to their sightseeing. Rumi picks up the smell of a brawl somewhere close by, and neither Kameko nor Sameko can stop her before she bounds off toward it.
An unnamed Quirk grants Kameko the attributes of a tortoise, and beyond that nothing about it has been detailed. Her name nods to the Aesop fable about the tortoise and the hare, a fitting pairing with her friend Rumi, and the "kame" in it is a homophone of the Japanese word for turtle.
