Mawata Fuwa

Her pupils are the detail worth noticing, pale and shaped like small clouds or stars inside round gray eyes that slope downward at the outer corners. Long lashes and noticeably dark makeup frame them.

Baby pink hair sits in layers at shoulder length, the straight fringe split to the left, one side tucked behind an ear and the other left hanging across her face. With the standard U.A. girls' uniform she wears earrings puffed up like balls of cotton.

Her hero costume is a sleeveless white jacket of that same fluffy texture worn over black arm bracers, and the earrings scale up considerably. The version she wears eight years on darkens to a deeper pink and adds a hat.

Cheerful and slack by default, Mawata flips into competence when it counts. She serves as the point of contact for Class 2-A while Japan rebuilds, telling the younger students to come to her with anything they need.

The formality lasts about a sentence. In front of his own class she calls Eraser Head "Era-sen", then complains, apparently sincerely, that none of them were expelled.

Her fondness for that memory sets her apart from her classmates. She holds that being cut loose taught the whole class what heroism actually asks of a person, which amounts to a backhanded but real respect for Shota Aizawa's methods underneath the lackadaisical surface.

Mawata studied under Eraser Head as a first-year and feared his harsh training. He expelled her entire class in the middle of a lesson, then re-enrolled all of them immediately so they would have tasted a death and push themselves harder for it.

When he left for Tartarus during the Paranormal Liberation War, Class 2-A read his mood as the same face he wore before expelling someone. Mawata argued the incident had grown the class overall; her classmates disagreed, pointing out it left a permanent mark on everyone's record.

She fought at Mt. Fuji in the Final War, warped in by Eraser Head and "Kurogiri" alongside the surviving heroes to strike back at "All For One" and the massive stockpile of Quirks he carried. Keeping the villain occupied let Izuku Midoriya run a straight line at him and land the finishing blow, after which Tomura succumbed and his body broke apart into ash.

That June, at the graduation held after the war, Mawata gave the farewell address as the students' representative before Mirio Togata spoke for the graduates. She then briefed the new Class 2-A on the restoration effort she was organizing, warning them that the textbooks skip the chaos that follows every major battle they have studied.

Her Quirk remains unknown, though it appears to involve altering the size of her cotton-ball earrings. She moved up to Class 3-A after the Final War and had graduated into pro hero work by the eight-year mark.
