Samidare Asui is Tsuyu Asui's younger brother and one of the two siblings she raised while their parents were away for work. He turns up mostly at the dinner table and, years later, in an evacuation center, cheering as his big sister fights on live television.
Black hair falls across his face, covering the right eye entirely. The eyes beneath are dark green and usually sit half closed, and his features carry the frog-like cast that runs through his family. From his mother he inherited the blush marks on his cheeks.
His body language reads as relaxed, and he can be offhand about things. Asking Tsuyu whether dinner was ready, and getting a minute as the answer, is about the extent of what the series shows of his manner.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Samidare is the Asui household's youngest son, and second youngest among Tsuyu's siblings. Work took their parents, Bell and Ganma, away often, which left little time for raising the children, so the responsibility for Samidare and Satsuki Asui fell to Tsuyu, cooking their dinners included. He was watching an interview with All Might when he asked his sister how long the food would be. Difficult as it was, Tsuyu still considered her life wonderful.
After the Paranormal Liberation War, society came apart and the country fell into disarray, forcing the Asui family into an evacuation center for their safety while Tsuyu left to fight alongside the heroes against All For One's villain army in the Final War. Sheltering there, the family followed the live broadcast, above all the final clash of Izuku Midoriya against Tomura Shigaraki. They watched in astonishment as Tsuyu and Mezo Shoji carried Izuku through All For One's barrage of attacks toward the villain, and the younger siblings cheered her on.
