Shuichi Iguchi

Bright green scales cover him and his face is built like a lizard's, both products of his Quirk. His eyes are pink, red in the anime, and his hair, a washed-out purple-pink, sweeps back long enough to stand out against everything else about him.

Everything he wears copies Stain out of sheer admiration: sleeveless shirt, baggy dark trousers, brown thigh holsters, black boots, pale metal knee guards, a strip of tattered white cloth for a mask, goggles pushed onto his forehead, a red scarf, and bandages up both arms. For a time he hauled an enormous sword of smaller blades chained together, until Izuku Midoriya destroyed it and a more sensible replacement followed. Out of costume he wears a light blue hoodie under a black leather jacket.

Body Bulk turned him several stories tall and heavily muscled, darkened his scales, and left him behaving like an animal, carrying a scaled-up remake of the old bladed sword. What came out of the Final War is scarred from face to neck, most of his scales shredded by Body Bulk and Scalemail.

Heroes get no respect from him. Convinced the profession is corrupt, he stood on Pixie-Bob's face and grinned while she lay bleeding beneath his boot. Stain is the exception that organizes everything else: where Dabi follows the ideology loosely, Shuichi is obsessed with the method, copying the clothes and the weapons and aiming at the same dream.

That devotion gave him a moral floor the rest of the League lacked. He attacked Magne to protect Izuku, whom Stain had named a genuine hero, and was shocked to learn that Tomura wanted society erased rather than repaired. Years of discrimination over his Mutant Quirk had made him a recluse, and a compliment on his appearance still surprises him. Facing Trumpet he admitted plainly that he was weak, a bandwagoner following Tomura, and said he had no problem with either.

After Deika City his loyalty moved from Stain's will to Tomura himself. He treats the League as friends, bonded with Tomura over video games, told Himiko Toga to come back safely, and pushed Tomura's hand mask onto his unconscious face to wake him. When All For One took command he began questioning again, intent on following Tomura and not the man wearing him.

The aftermath made him an icon for heteromorphs crushed by society, the same role Stain had filled for him, and the pressure hollowed him out. Feeling unworthy and hopelessly behind his comrades, he accepted more power from All For One anyway, and eventually spoke for a crowd of over 15,000 before the strain of multiple Quirks made him too unstable to lead, at which point the destruction he caused turned them all away. When Izuku visited afterward he called him a murderer, then broke down as Tomura's message reached him, saying Tomura had been his hope, his hero, and his first friend. He resolved to write the League's story so nobody could forget it.

Spinner fights close and armed. During the Vanguard Action Squad Invasion he held Mandalay off for minutes and nearly landed a clean strike before Izuku arrived and shattered his sword; stopping Magne from chasing Izuku started an argument that gave Mandalay the opening to drop him with one kick. At the Revival Celebration he cut a path through Meta Liberation Army soldiers so Tomura could reach Re-Destro, and escaped Trumpet's augmented troops only because Tomura's Awakening destroyed Deika City. He became a Paranormal Liberation Front lieutenant soon after.

Gecko, his original Quirk, gives him the reptilian body and lets him cling to walls, and little else. All For One added Body Bulk, which inflates his frame and strength, and Scalemail, which sheathes him in blade-like scales for more power and defense while making him bleed and worsening the mental strain. Bulked up he cut through a staircase in one swing; scaled up he punched holes in a building while climbing, tore the front off a hospital, and shrugged off Mezo's Octoblow, though Tentacole matched his heightened strength anyway.

He thinks better than he lets on. He spotted Tomura's Decay improving into a chain reaction, judged it absurd for a support type like Trumpet to hold a front line, and, restrained by Best Jeanist late in the Paranormal Liberation War, worked out that Gigantomachia could never fight at full strength without orders, then fought to wake Tomura so those orders could come. His weapons were the Super Knife Knife Sword, a self-sized bundle of knives, daggers and hatchets bound with chains, and the katana-like blade that replaced it. He taught himself to drive from video games, and experimental treatment after his capture reversed the mental decay.
