Izuku's rebuke lands hard enough to end the argument, and both Shoto Todoroki and Inasa Yoarashi are left looking at what their pride cost. Immobilized and out of options, the two reach the same conclusion at the same moment, and Gang Orca finds out what happens when wind meets fire.
Fear never troubled Inasa Yoarashi as a boy, so whatever grabbed his attention simply became the next thing he loved completely. Heroes were the trend that caught him, and he threw himself in. Out of that came the conviction that a Hero carries a red-hot fighting spirit and meets anything head-on, and those were the Heroes he adored. Endeavor demolished that admiration, and contempt for the flame Hero replaced it. At U.A. High's recommendation entrance exam, Inasa ran a marathon and noticed Shoto Todoroki's skill with ice. Something about him felt wrong, but Inasa figured that once they were classmates the look in those eyes would stop mattering. He crossed the finish line first by a hair with Shoto second, then offered praise that Shoto neither wanted nor acknowledged, saying only that passing was all he cared about, and calling Inasa a nuisance as he walked off.
In the present, Izuku Midoriya has just pulled Yo Shindo clear of Shoto's flames, and his fury at the two of them stops the argument cold. Shoto finally recognizes Inasa as the teenager from the entrance exam, and understands why he did not before: back then he saw nothing but his hatred for Endeavor. After the Sports Festival, reconciling with his mother let him decide to set that hatred aside. Burying the past clearly did not work, since it keeps resurfacing, so he concludes he needs to face it some other way. Losing patience with the pair, Gang Orca hits Inasa with his sound wave. Inasa tries to evade and takes a grunt's cement round instead, which breaks his concentration and knocks him out of the air. As Inasa hits the ground immobilized, Gang Orca turns the wave on Shoto and locks him up completely. Shoto accepts Izuku's criticism, since his own conduct built this situation.
With both of them down, the grunts head for a rescue group. Izuku moves to cut them off, but Shindo gets there first, using Vibrate to shatter the ground under them. Izuku is astonished he can still function after the sound wave and his own Quirk's recoil; Shindo explains he has built up resistance, though he remains numb. He tells Izuku the takedown is his, so Izuku switches on Full Cowl and charges while the rescue work continues behind them.
As Gang Orca moves to reinforce his crew, Shoto blames himself for starting a fight mid-crisis. The odds are bad, the Quirk compatibility is worse, and cooperation is nonexistent, but he knows heat destabilizes wind. He lights his left side and hopes Inasa is on the same page. Inasa is, and starts building wind, then drives it toward Shoto. The gale scoops up the flames, turns volatile, and rolls over Gang Orca, swallowing him in a blazing whirlwind.
Inasa's childhood is expanded, from his all-consuming love of Heroes to the twin rejections by Endeavor and Shoto.
Shoto recognizes Inasa at last, regrets how he treated him, and resolves to confront his past rather than bury it.
Gang Orca paralyzes both Shoto and Inasa with Orcinus, aided by a grunt's cement gun.
Yo Shindo halts the grunts advancing on the rescue site and hands the fight to Izuku, who engages with Full Cowl.
Shoto and Inasa make amends without a word and combine fire and wind into a whirlwind that engulfs Gang Orca.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
