The last arc of the Boruto manga's first part introduces Code, Kara's final surviving Inner, as he breaks free of his limits and awakens the all-seeing cyborg Ada. Vengeance for Isshiki and a plan to grow a God Tree set the stage for what comes next.
Running through a dozen chapters and a short run of episodes, this arc caps the first part of the Boruto story. In the manga it bridges the Kawaki Arc and the Omnipotence Arc, and it stands as the closing arc of the anime's opening part.
Fresh off being hailed for saving Konoha from Isshiki, Boruto lives under tight watch while Amado services Kawaki's rebuilt arm. Kawaki floats a grim contingency, branding someone else with a Kāma so he could return should Momoshiki ever reclaim his body, and points to Code as the target. Amado, meanwhile, identifies Code as the last active Inner and the guardian of Kara's Ten-Tails, and resolves to have him removed. He also confides in Naruto about a daughter he lost years earlier and offers a drug that might weaken the Byakugan and stall Boruto's transformation.
Code strikes first, cutting down the guards of Boro's cult and pressing a subordinate about Amado's abandoned cyborgs before forcing open the chamber holding Ada. The assembled Kage compare notes on him, noting that the Space-Time Gates have gone dead, a sign he knows Amado turned traitor, and that he means to avenge Isshiki by cultivating a God Tree from a young Ten-Tails.
When Ada stirs, she coolly dismisses Code's threats and explains her power: nearly everyone who perceives her is helplessly drawn to her, which is why he now claims to care for her. She spells out that only blood relatives and Celestial Beings resist the effect, an ominous detail since it means figures like Kawaki and Boruto could face her unaffected. She also tells Code he needs Amado's iris scan and voice to strip away the limiters caging his strength.
