Appearance

Grey-furred with paler markings ringing his eyes and ears and running down his body, Don is a koala set apart by three vertical scars across his forehead and a brown nose. At his introduction he cut the figure of an Italian mafia don, decked out in a brown suit and matching bowler hat with a red scarf over his shoulders and a lit cigar between his lips. By the time Naruto arrives on the island for his survey, Don has shed the outfit entirely.

Personality

Don is stubborn to the core and never backs away from a challenge. Condor notes that even his fear of King is not enough to make him surrender his claim to Armadiko.

History

When Naruto sets about recruiting the island's animals, Don is already brawling with Chuji and Hippo Boss, and the arrival of King quickly leaves all of them flattened by the gorilla. The instant Armadiko announces a love for Naruto, though, the four rivals unite in fury and swear to beat him, sending Don chasing him across the island.

Later, bruised and sulking, he files into the temple with the others and glowers jealously as Armadiko nestles up to Naruto, only to look sharply away when asked if he wants another fight. His outrage flares again when Naruto insists on inspecting the animals to record their sexes, and it curdles into shared dismay when the flipping of the Island Turtle and Yamato's timely rescue reveal that the unconscious Armadiko is, in fact, male.
